While CNN brass supports Cuomo, staffers aren’t happy: Report

Although the network publicly backed anchor Chris Cuomo after a profanity-laden video of him surfaced, Page Six is reporting that CNN staffers are “embarrassed” by the whole thing.

Insiders tell the site that while execs are voicing support, workers in CNN newsrooms aren’t so happy with the attention the incident has put on the network.

One insider event went as far to suggest Cuomo’s getting special treatment thanks to his friendship with president Jeff Zucker.

While many newsroom staffers are supportive of standing up to a troll, they think Cuomo went way overboard.
