The Weather Channel is launching tools for online learning tools for students out of school as well as news and information geared toward kids about coronavirus.
Every hour the network will provide updates about educational content at 50 minutes past each hour — both related to coronavirus and general science topics.
It’s also promoting a kid focused version of its “We Love Weather” site and a three parter on coronavirus facts vs. fiction.
To announce this new educational programming, The Weather Channel released a PSA this morning featuring meteorologists Jim Cantore and Stephanie Abrams.
The network also released a series of “Myths vs. Facts.”
